It refers to the critical first hour after a traumatic injury, during which prompt medical intervention is essential to prevent death and improve the chances of survival. If the patient does not receive definitive care, the type of care that is only found in a trauma center, the chances of survival decrease drastically. Baja Rescue was founded out of necessity. When emergencies happen, every second counts. Our goal is raise enough capital in order to provide rescue logistics, race course pre-planning, emergency aid and first aid education for riders, teams and events. First Aid Supplies (North American Rescue, Dark Angel, My Medic, Etc.)
AED’s for treatment of cardiac arrhythmias
On-scene lighting for vehicles
Radios to communicate with Weatherman, both in chase vehicles and UTV’s
Starlink
UTV to extract patients requiring total SMR (spinal motion restriction.) UTV build will include spot for a backboard, radio communication, Starlink, and on-scene lighting.
